My Story
Since my very first Little Golden Books, I have been fascinated by the art of storytelling. From masterfully commanding words to enhancing a reader’s experience through visual communication, crafting content that speaks to emotions was the logical course for my life.
Of course, we don’t always choose the most direct path. So, I followed my heart to music therapy.
Studying the human mind and using music to map connections between memory, motivation, and decision-making helped me understand more deeply how people rely on emotional responses to relate external stimuli to their narratives and to guide their behaviors.
Since shifting my focus to content marketing over a decade ago, I have used my composition skills, passion for storytelling, and experience in psychology to develop integrated marketing strategies that drive results.
By building a bridge between your brand and your audience through thoughtful and valuable content, you can get your solution in front of the right audience at the right time, through the right channel, tapping into the right emotional connection.
My Professional Journey
I earned twelve years of experience managing a household while navigating the turbulent world of freelance work to keep my skills sharp before reentering the workforce full time. Since then, I’ve worked hard to earn recognition as an experienced visual and editorial director in the content marketing industry.
I’ve served as editor, wordsmith, and digital marketing mastermind in an agency setting, overseeing content marketing for start-ups, non-profits, and rising Fortune 500 companies, and as the Content Manager for internal marketing teams. I have overseen content marketing and branding strategies for Human Resources and HR Tech, Medical Sales, Career Counseling and Alumni Services, Job Search, Government Compliance, Construction, and more.

I’m excited by opportunities that will challenge me to grow and encourage me to hone my skills to nurture a brand and community I’m proud to represent.
I’m passionate about creative writing, family, mental health, hilarious GIFs, social awareness, salted caramel, The Muppets, and music.
