Project Description: Website and communications management

The Walkersville High School Music Department was in need of a new web manager. The original basic website was built from scratch on a personal domain and required someone who could recover the content, transfer the site, and build a new site from the original codes.

A beta site was initially built on a CRM server to establish a system for communications for the non-profit while I laid the groundwork for a more dynamic content and comms management system.

I set the non-profit up with a new team operating system and built a new website with a user-friendly builder that Board Admins could use to make site updates and transferred the domain.

The non-profit now has an engaging website, collaborative workflow system to coordinate fundraising and events, as well as streamlined communications all in one dashboard.

I continue to volunteer as the web manager, making updates to the site, troubleshooting admin issues on social media sites, and creating marketing content for events.
